Valentine’s Day – Day 3

Hello!

Today, I would like to share with you another fun card I made with my Cricut. This card also had intricate cuts, like yesterday’s card. My Cricut did a great job with these cuts. I, on the other hand, didn’t size the overlay to fit an A2 size card. That was my first ”oops.” My second ”oops” happened when I tried to line the overlay up with the card and then trimmed off the extra pieces. Once I adhered the overlay, and trimmed it up, it was off center.

I still think it looks pretty. I hope you do too! It’s amazing how you can turn an ”oops” into something very pretty. Share with me your most memorable ”oops” moments!

Until tomorrow…

Keep crafting, Becky ❤️

Valentine’s Day Cards – Day 2

Hello!

Today, I would like to share with you another fun card I made with my Cricut. This card has very intricate cuts. Unfortunately, my Cricut doesn’t always cut perfectly for me. But, that’s ok! I used this imperfection to fancy my card with lots of bling. It’s amazing how you can turn an ”oops” into something very pretty.

How do you fix your ”oops” moments?

Until tomorrow…

Keep crafting,

Valentine’s Cards – Day 1

Hello!

This week’s theme is all about Valentine’s Day. For these cards I used my Cricut. It was a great experience for me because I haven’t used it for so long.

The first card I would like to share says, ”Hello Love.” The Cricut cut out the words and also drew the delicate arrows. I finished the card by inking the sides with purple Memento ink. I enjoy inking my cards and tags. It gives them such a finished touch and also makes the project pop!

What is your favorite crafting technique?

Until tomorrow…

Gift Tags 🏷 Day 7

Hello!

I hope you are having a fabulous weekend! I sure am. I was able to spend the entire week and weekend with my daughter 🥰

Today’s tag is all about Hanukkah. I was pretty lucky growing up. My mom was Catholic and my Dad was Jewish. Every year we were able to celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas.

Getting back to today’s project. I once again upcycled a cereal box for the tag base and then covered them with paper and stickers made by Photoplay. I inked the edges using blue Memento ink and completed the tags with blue twine from Michael’s.

This was a fun week sharing my tags with you. Is there a particular tag that stood out to you or you would like to see more of in the future?

I can’t wait to share with you my next project. I will give you a hint… Love is in the air ❤️❤️❤️

Keep crafting,

❤️Becky❤️

Hello!

I hope you are having a great weekend.

Today’s tags were made using Gina K Designs’ Holiday Foil-Mates. Such a great product and so easy to use. I simply took a sheet of sentiments and paired it up with her festive foils. I ran them through the laminating machine and out popped pure magic! I took the completed sheet and used her coordinating tag set to create these very special tags. Yes, I’m still Christmas crafting.

Tomorrow, I have one last Holiday tag to share with you. Until tomorrow…

Keep crafting,

❤️Becky❤️

Hi!

In staying with Valentine’s theme from yesterday, I would like to share with you another sweet tag. I’ve seen many variations of this style on Pinterest. It was pretty simple to make these tags.

First I cut out the shapes using my Cricut. Then I took the white pieces and embossed them using my Cuddlebug. Next, I punched out glitter hearts, using a punch from years ago! I’m pretty sure I purchased this punch when my kids were in preschool. They are now adults!

Finally, I attached the white and red tags together by using twine. I couldn’t decide if I should stamp, ”To” and ”From” on the red tags or leave them blank. I decided to leave them blank to allow for a special message to your sweetheart.

How soon do you start preparing for Valentine’s Day?

Until tomorrow…

Keep crafting,

❤️Becky❤️

Hello!

Today’s tags are a sneak peek into next week’s Valentine’s Day theme. I once again upcycled a cereal box for the base of the tags. I covered them with Valentine’s paper I purchased from Michael’s last year. I used chipboard pieces purchased from a local craft store and I inked the edges with pink memento ink.

I love the style of these tags. I made and sold several of them over Christmas this past year. It is very easy to produce multiple tags in just a few hours.

Have you recently received a thoughtful handcrafted tag?

Until tomorrow…

Keep crafting,

❤️Becky❤️
